Anxiety! It has been given fancy names through time in order to distinguish its many facets without consideration for the sufferer’s own narrative... now it has been given a name stating nothing, which is even worse: 'generalized anxiety'. Yet there is something very specific in each person who experiences anxiety, a trait from their own story marking their own way in being in life, in the world. What can anxiety say about us? What is its function in our history? What is its use? And even more daring is to ask: do we get anything out of it?

Let’s Talk: Anxiety
Join us for a challenging and creative discussion on Monday the 26th of October at 8:30 pm EET.

Speakers:

✳ Penny Georgiou, Lacanian Psychoanalyst, London, UK

✳ Petros Patounas, Lacanian Psychoanalyst, Limassol, Cyprus

Let’s Talk is a series of dialogues unfolding and concentrating on one word, where the audience is allowed to ask any possible question to initiate a conversation, related however on that word-topic.
The inquiries are directed to Lacanian Psychoanalysts Penny Georgiou and Petros Patounas - they will respond to the structure of the questions, on its roots and context.

The Let’s Talk events are the ILPPD Institute’s act to facilitate a longing for life and creativity.
